We must face/confront/stand against the emptiness/void/terror, and discover/remember/unearth the resilient/unyielding spirit that lies within/deep inside/at our core.

An Heavy Blanket of Insomnia

Insomnia acts as heavy weight upon your mind and body. You toss and turn, searching for sleep to come. The hours crawl by, each one an eternity ridden anxieties and exhaustion. This lingering state of wakefulness transforms you into a prisoner of your own mind.

Aching for Sweet Oblivion

The throes of oblivion was a siren's call, a gentle promise of escape. To fade in its shadows was to quell the incessant cacophony of existence. The life's sharp edges faded under the influence of its peace.

To truly long oblivion was to ache for a temporary respite from the burden of being.
